28 Oct 2014 Not that it is hard in any way, but rather that they don't understand the specifics of its lockout system as compared to LFR or Normal/Heroic

This isn't a coincidence, as the same players then received loot from later bosses which they hadn't cleared in LFR. Legion and Battle for Azeroth LFR, Normal and Heroic raids fall into the Loot-Based Lockout section. Legion and Battle for Azeroth Mythic raids use the Strict Instance-based Lockout . Killing Azshara on Heroic, then killing Azshara on Normal will result in no drops of those items on the second kill. You are already overgearing LFR and Normal-difficulty, based on ilvl. But it is very good to have some knowledge beforehand of the raid already. LFR is queuable with i think a requirement of 415 ilvl. It drops 430. But at least you can see something of the raid already in an environment which is pretty safe.

9 Feb 2015 Mods can move to Guides if they feel it is more appropriate alts in same guild); Step 3 ) Log onto character you want to share lockout with. after you are inside the ICC instance and accepted the NORMAL mode 25 lock

I did LFR yesterday before my guild normal run. Shriekwing gave me 35 anima.

We're betting on the former, as many players are reporting not being able to loot Normal mode bosses after having previously cleared them on LFR! The LFR kill seems to be counting as Normal, as players who had previously done the encounter on the lowest raid difficulty, which unlocked this week, don't even get gold or any loot options from Normal bosses they defeat.

So if you are 3/8 and start a raid group, you will have 3 bosses dead when you walk in. Legion and Battle for Azeroth LFR, Normal and Heroic raids fall into the Loot-Based Lockout section. Legion and Battle for Azeroth Mythic raids use the Strict Instance-based Lockout .

Normal Dungeons drop ilevel 158 gear, and ilevel 155 is needed to queue for Heroic Dungeons. Heroic Dungeons drop ilevel 171 gear, and ilevel 170 is needed for LFR. That means a character needs to be almost fully decked out in Normal gear to start queuing for Heroics, and then almost completing in Heroic Dungeon gear to get into LFR.

A lie preserved in stained glass doesn't make it more true. Loot in the Ny'alotha includes weapons and armor pieces in all difficulties: item level 430 for LFR, 445 for Normal, 460 for Heroic, and 475 for Mythic. The loot dropped by the final boss will be 10 item levels higher on all difficulties; this means that, for example, a piece of Azerite gear from a Normal N'Zoth kill will be item level 455, not 445. For anyone as confused as I was when reading this: The lockout doesn't get shared to the offline alt. Related line from comment in the linked Reddit thread "Note: Your offline character will not get saved for boss kill while in group." – Chase Feb 4 '16 at 16:59 It seems Mythic Castle Nathria week is having some issues affecting other difficulties as well, as weve already seen the LFR lockout affect Normal and Heroic loot, but now EU players are reporting getting their Normal (and ONLY Normal) reset way too early and in a pretty buggy state to boot!
